Covid 19 Information

We appreciate that these are uncertain times. If you book directly with us and you are unable to travel, or we are unable to provide the accommodation due to any Government Statutory Travel restrictions or lockdown. We will fully refund the amount that you have paid for your stay with us.

We will be cleaning all of our properties thoroughly, using appropriate and recommended products. We will comply with all Government and Industry guidance. Recommended PPE will be used as advised.

Current advice is that certain items within Holiday accommodation should be removed to avoid cross contamination. These include Books and Leaflets, Toys and Games, DVDs, and some soft furnishings such as cushions. Please be aware that we have temporarily taken these items out of the properties.

Pillow and Mattress protectors will be changed between each Guest.

Please respect the check in and check out times, the additional cleaning recommendations will mean it will take longer to clean each property. If you arrive early your Room or apartment may not be ready for you. You will not be able to enter until your accommodation is ready and empty.

Moor Edge B&B has hand sanitiser available at the entrance, we will be asking guests to use this before they enter the building. We have temporarily closed our third B&B room to enable Social Distancing to be followed during Breakfast time.

Your Dog is very welcome in all of our properties. Please inform us when you book that you are bringing a Dog with you.

We do not charge extra for Dogs.

If you have more than one Dog, please contact us to discuss before you book, this is usually not a problem, but it depends on the size of the Dogs and which property or Room you are planning to stay in.

Each Apartment has a Dog bowl and Dog towels for your use during your stay.

Please ensure that your dog is covered by an appropriate flea treatment when you stay.

Please do not allow your Dog on any furniture or on the Beds. If specialist cleaning products are required to remove muddy paw prints, or accidents on the carpet, you will be charged for this through your Bond.

Please do not leave your Dog alone in the property or room at any time. This reduces the risk of possible damage, and also ensures that your Dog cannot disturb others by Howling or Barking.

If you would like to stay at MoorEdge B&B, please be aware that we have a Labrador and 2 Cats.

Damage Bond

A Damage Protection Deposit of £100 will automatically be placed against your Credit card when you book. You do not have to pay this upfront. This Bond applies only to the Apartments. This will remain active on your card until 7 days after the end of your stay.

Funds will only be charged (in part or in full) to pay for extra cleaning costs or to replace or repair broken items.

We understand that accidents happen, you will not be charged for minor accidental breakages. If there is an accident during your stay, please let us know immediately to enable us to replace an item, or fix any damage before the next Guest arrives.

We will inform Guests (with Photo evidence) if they are to be charged, and what amount is to be taken. Please note that we do not need your authorisation to make any charges against this Bond.

We have put this Bond in place to protect us from Guests who may not respect our properties, and either cause damage or leave them in a state which requires specialist cleaning or redecoration. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
